About Us

Lewisham community sports have been set up to provide safe, fun and well structured sports activities to all in the Lewisham borough.

Many of our staff, our Lewisham residents and have knowledge of what happens in there local area. We use this pool of information to provide the best form of social teaching, through sport and team activities.

With our flagship holiday camps all over the year at Hilly Fields Park we have, built up a strong relationship with local schools and community’s groups, which use us as there sports provider.

Lewisham Community Sports is a registered Lewisham borough sports provider with all coaches meeting the high standards set by our organisation. All coaches hold at least two national governing body sports coaching badges, first aid training, renewed every 3 years, child protection workshop training and a current CRB disclosure form.

All our coaches have a minimum of two years experience in there fields and this leads to a high quality of delivery and understanding towards that activity.

We provide many services in the community and are always looking for new avenues to promote our core values and develop the area which we live in.

 we have a wealth of links to many different sports organisations in the local area and can proudly say that we can offer a exit rout to any keen sportsperson to any sport of there choice.

Many of our After School Football clubs in schools have now joint into the Lewisham Schools football League. Also From providing cricket in many of our schools, players have joined the Catford Colts Cricket Academy at St Dustan's. Children who show strong core skills are referred o to Ladywell Athletics club where there natural ability can be channelled.

This is know as our Talent ID programme if there is any sports or areas where we can help people then we can direct you into that field.
